ABOUT
LEADERSHIP :: DAVID LAHME
President & Co-Founder
David Lahme started his career in media and advertising sales before diving into the computer industry. His strong background in sales served him well. He joined GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national VAR, as a national account executive and team leader selling integrated services such as e-commerce platforms and application integration.
His successful selling career and leadership put him in the top 10% of his next role at an international computer distributor. After that David was recruited away to join a business-to-business software company where he served as the director of sales. There he grew the top line revenue by 25%, launched their Webinar series, and built the inside sales department. David often found himself getting involved with strategic initiatives such as training, policies and procedures, and identifying new markets. The entrepreneurial spirit led David to launch TradePort with his co-founder Sam Biddle a decade ago.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College. He served on the Board of Directors for Leadership Seacoast and has been a long-standing member of the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce. David lives in York Maine with his wife and three children.
LEADERSHIP :: SAM BIDDLE
Vice President & Co-Founder
Sam Biddle started his career in the computer industry with an authorized reseller and systems integrator called the Portsmouth Computer Group. His focus was to expand local markets and increase their key account base, both of which he achieved in addition to lending his expertise to restructuring customer service operations. He also expanded their reach by negotiating with strategic vendors to offer new products and services to their existing customers.
With GreenPages Technology Solutions, a national consulting and integration firm, Sam was instrumental in creating a new division - The Professional Services Group. His leadership and vision launched this group as a preemptive move when hardware and software sales started to decline. Today the company's revenue accounts for a services business model. Sam also managed the sales solutions process for 10 account executives. It was during this change in the market that he saw an opportunity to start an Asset Recovery niche that would later evolve into his own business.
From his experience in hardware, software, asset recovery and Internet applications, Sam had a vision for TradePort, which he co-founded in 2001. Sam's expertise is in operations, logistics, merchandising and marketing consumer electronics over the Internet. Sam is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and mentored students at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. An avid skier and beach bum, when he's not at TradePort, he's either on the slopes in the White Mountains, or at the beach in Rye with his wife and two children.
